In the year 1983, RURAL RECONSTRUCTION SOCIETY started its developmental activities in Madanapalleof Chittoor District at Andhra Pradesh and it is constituted by a team of committed and likeminded individuals. The basic reason for coming together was to address the concernsof deplorable conditions of vulnerable population.

In fulfillment of my irrepressible urge, I wanted to start an organization of my own at a place selected after prolonged reconnaissance. It is a tiny village by name Angallu in Kurabalakota mandal chosen for the establishment of its head quarters in the year 1983 appropriately christening it “Rural Reconstruction Society (RRS)” because of its vantage location known for its easy accessibility to the people of surrounding villages who can make a beeline to the office on various errands.
Organizational Philosophy
It is wedded to secularism that is an antidote to religious bigotry, spares no effort in the establishment of caste-less and creed-less society, and is determined to reduce the socio economic disparities. Its forte is integrity, honesty, financial fidelity and transparency in all actions and deeds.
